Anyone? Gsxr said he was seeing sustained 1450 without problems. What are you guys seeing with modded IP's? Dieselmeken what do you think is safe?

This is a great question I would be curious to what people here think is safeish... Sure it depends on factors like head and valve train condition, turbo pressure ration ect..

But a good average would be helpful for people just getting into this std stuff

550-600celsius is OK according to the guys that build Engines here. up to 700-750 short periods but not for long, then its time for piston meltdown.
Inlet air temp from turbo to intercooler never to be over 160C, if it goes over turbo is to small.

i smoke arround at 500C. full throttle also 750c fot short time. i think it would go higher on long time pedal to the metal.. but mostly i have to brake ore im on the end of the gearbox Smile
(this is 606 temp, perhaps 603 is little under ore same)
