I saw a w123 at the yard today up in Greely CO the oil pressure line for the gauge was broken off at the oil filter housing it sprayed every thing under the hood with oil and then died ouch!
wonder how fast it could pump 7-8 quarts out of that small line???? the definition of a bad day! glad it wasn't me

you would think there would be smoke? and the gauge would have gone to 0 but they kept driving till it died!
lesson learned check your gauges!!!! still glad it wasn't my car

Makes me think about rigging up a "wife" light. Hmm maybe use the brake pad wear indicator light or are there any blank spots on the cluster? I can't think of where to tap in for a switch. but there's probably an easy way.
