Busted 2 thermostat housing bolts!
Busted 2 thermostat housing bolts!
And will need to drill the busted ones out. Can i just replace them with run of the mill bolts? Or are they some sort of special kind?

larsalan I guess I need to look at this stupid ass drip shit. What you have to like mess with those elements on the pump? What a fucking hassle. then use some wire to hold the throttle open or some shit?

07-15-2013, 01:01 PM #2You're lucky, up in Canadia you have metric stuff in every hardware store! Regular bolts will be fine, add some neversieze or grease to them. If you're loaded($$) use brass studs with mild steel nuts.

To be clear, the bolts I broke were the ones that hold the 2 halves of the housing together.

I had broken off 1 or 2 of the original stock bolts, they came out pretty easy with a screw remover or something as I recall.
To be clear, the bolts I broke were the ones that hold the 2 halves of the housing together.
