flexi disc alternative
flexi disc alternative
(10-01-2013, 03:57 PM)mantahead hi,
using 330d gearbox and supra backend, both have 3 bolt flanges designed for rubber flexi disc.
would like to do away with them and use bolt on drive shaft with hardy spicer in each end. whats my options?

Your a smart guy with a lathe correct? Turn those flanges down and fit a weld on u-joint end and have a drive shaft made up. Fairly easy stuff here in the states...i would think you have plenty of drive shaft shops your was as well?

use a t5 from a ford and a 8.8 center dif from a t-bird/lincon and get a posie with pleanty off gear ratio's
If you have a 617, you could use one of these adapters and install a t5 or tremec. Use a Dana 44 rear.
