Hi all. I am new to the mercedes diesel world. Have started building a om605 engine into a mersedes G wagon. Now need to get rid of the electronics. I can get a om602 pump but it has no alda unit. Is there a way to make it work. If i want around 150 hp do i need to fit 6mm elements? Regards Ruan

Dieselmeken does an external alda. I am no expert but I am pretty sure you will need your 6mm elements for 150 hp. You will get a bit more over that as well with the 6mm's in there.

Ssangyong is a 662 td engine a 2.9 liter IDI so you can use the pump with your 6 mm elements from your 605 pump its also possible to use the oil sump if you need 1 thats deepest at the rear end

Which element size did Bosch put into your IP?
I will take 6mm elements into my OM602 N/A pump with an outside ALDA from dieselmeken. Currently i am looking for an appropriate charger. I would like to achieve 215HP an 400Nm - at the moment i´m consider to build an K04 from an Audi TT Gasoline Car with 225HP. Holset HX35 or other large Chargers are not useable for me because I want to build a daily driver.

Why can't you use a hx35 or something for daily driving? Look around here. There are more people here running bigger turbo's on a daily driver Big Grin
