The fellow who sold the .962 to me, a local fulltime professional wvo-kit installer, says that the Florida junkyard he bought it from (he had it trucked here, intending it for his GF's car, but then they broke up) told him it has only 40,000 miles on it. I see no reason to doubt it.

The .912, I bought from a local junkyard just to get the pulley, manifolds, and oil pan. The donor car had been rear ended, odometer showed 123,000.

Another forum member who lives in Northern California is trying to work out the logistics of having his uncle pick them up.

First $1600, cash in my hands, takes both engines and the IP. Send a box truck with a lift gate and pallet jack. Probably a good idea to send pallets that you know the jack fits. I have an engine hoist which can get the engines from the garage to the box truck's lift gate.

Gone but not forgotten: two W123 sedans and two W124 wagons.
W124 1987 300TD wagon, for sale, $1000 (some assembly required).
