will 123 chassis also work? (I don't have any, just wondering if they will cross mount) ive swapped axles and diffs, and the damn things do look identical, but im not sure. Might expand your search possibilities if a 123 chassis would also get the job done. Maybe the EPC could say definitively

that sucks however! do you have pics of the damage?

1974 240D 617 turbo swap, W201 5-speed, in the works project
1983 240D 616 stock, DD
1989 Chevy Astro, 617 turbo swap, T5 5-speed, 4.56 diff, work van

I'll sell you my whole car in a little while when I move up there. I'm driving in to stay 2/10/14.
But I guess you'd need a place to store a whole parts car. It's really good as far as structure and no rust too.

Rusted out beat down 300d turbo 82' -- RIP
Nice body, tons of ridiculous mechanical issues - 300d turbo 82' /motor 85'

I got the hook up on some California kleeeeenn! Arms coming from deliveryvalve.

Thanks swampmonkey. for the heads up. JB3 I was told you may have some spring info.

Lars my wife swears if I get a third Mercedes before we get a house she is going to kill me :-) Where you going to be living? We'll have to start an awkward bromance and hang out all the time. I got a local buddy with a wagon and we do some car stuff together. There is a local car show we crash when it gets warm out.

Our bromance doesn't have to be awkward if you don't want it to.

I think aiming for right in CHI. Myb logan sqr. Job is in the loop. So, really anywhere that public transit touches will be fine. Sadly I think I'm pretty well giving up cars in total for now. They can be quite the expense.
