OM662 2.9 with 7.5mm
2Bar boost, TD06 25G

I changed headgasket to new one, And i lowered compression ratio to about 17.5:1

Re assembled, Changed turbocharger.


THEN THE KNOCK STARTED
And it's killing my mental.

It's too severe.


What's a cause of knock????

I added cetane booster to my fuel, didn't work
Then changed IP timing both way....didn't work...

Lowed compression could be a reason???
Or the injector can be a reason???

Please help me..... it's going to kill my engine soon.
I have to stop it.

Try to loosen one injector line at a time, then you will know if it is an injector. And make a video, put it on youtube with a link here.

Check your timing. Maybe the chain has jumped on notch during disasembly

are you sure that your new gasket is for 89 mm pistons and not for 87 mm.

how did you lower the compression machine the pistons or what.
