Bolt-on bellhousing for 606
Bolt-on bellhousing for 606
My understanding is that the 722.6xx has a removable bellhousing and can be found in many different applications.
My question is: In what years/models could I find a bellhousing that bolts to a 606?
Engines:
1) OM606
2) M104 (confirm?)
3) M111 (confirm?)
4) ???
Are there more?
I'm trying to mate a Getrag 5-speed (with removable bellhousing) to a 606 by means of chop & weld (braze).
Thanks friends!!

I used the term bellhousing for a lack of a better one. I know its not a true bellhousing. I have a real bellhousing from my Getrag trans but it has a different bolt pattern. I plan to cut them both and make a new one.
Can anyone confirm that the M104 & M111 powered cars have the same pattern as the 606?
