-1982 300D Turbo, 280k miles, ALDA apparently maxxed, fram 8038, 12 lbs boost, non-egr manifolds, W/M injection, 4 brake light mod, Gen II w126 front rotors/calipers, 4-speed swap
In the works: A/W IC, adjust pump, turbo rebuild (w/60 trim comp wheel)
-1980 300SD, 110k, project car. Goal is to get it lookin' like it did on the showroom floor (body and interior wise, not necessarily under the hood )
-1974 240D, FRESH PAINT!!!!!!

I did it once. You could fit the box to the original automatic driveshaft, but the engine sits very far to the front. Both 603 engine and w123 where already an automatic. You'll need to drill 2 holes in the chassis for the gearbox support. I thought de w124 support fits on 2 bolts and you can easily drill the other holes. You'll also need to move the radiator to the right a few cm's for the steering pump to clear the radiator. The fan will not fit and needs to become electric. I did the motor mounts with spacers on the right side, and a homemade one on the left.

I would recommend shortening the driveshaft and move the engine further back.

And of course you got the standard problems, exhaust, wiring an so on.
