physically yes. The difference is the electronic governor of the 606 IP.
No idea what has to be modified on the 300 D 24 V-car that it will run with the "old" IP. But this has been done.

what is electronic governor? has 606 engine oil-cooled pistons? was going to put turbo on my 606 24V. and was going to 7mm elements in the IP-pump, and is it better to run with a turbo pump from a 300 Turbo 86 + than to use the pump that sits in 606 24V to modify to 7mm?

(09-11-2009, 08:55 AM)countach what is electronic governor?
use the search. The governor is controlled by the engine control box.

(09-11-2009, 08:55 AM)countach has 606 engine oil-cooled pistons?
I believe yes.

(09-11-2009, 08:55 AM)countach was going to put turbo on my 606 24V. and was going to 7mm elements in the IP-pump

How do you do the adjustment of the electronic governor??
This is in progress by some people but no solution as far as I know.
Therefore people use the (mechanical governed) IP out of the 603 and installed larger elements in that IP.

The 94-96 OM606 N/A only got electronic controlled idle(ELR), some of the OM603A have this too, or is it differences om the EURO and US engines?
