In the middle of a major business consolidation and simplification of overhead, and im emptying out a rented commercial condo.

I have some large commercial shop equipment that could be a good score for someone on the forum if they are interested.

first item is a 7.5k rated two post auto lift, heavy duty construction and fully functional. Probably mid 90s vintage. Got it out of a northern MA auto shop and set it up as a maintenance lift for work vehicles. Dont have the height for this thing (14 feet tall) in my new work space and don't really need it at this time.
Price on the lift is 700 dollars. Just a warning, depending on where you move it, expect to pay 5-700 having it moved and set up.

Item 2 is a 1965 wayne upright air compressor. They don't make them like this anymore, and it works great, super quiet with a huge flywheel. Compressor is about 7 feet tall. Was used to run a 3 bay auto shop, great addition to a hobby shop. Price for the compressor is 500 dollars.

Items 3 are several heavy steel work tables. I have 3 total. approx 6 feet by 4 feet, excellent for welding or other automotive type shenanigans. Price on heavy steel tables are 75 bucks each.

Final Item, and this one is FREE. The heaviest steel table I have every seen. about 9 feet by 4 feet, the top is solid half inch steel, and the whole thing is made out of braced I beams in a x pattern underneath even. It might weigh 1000 lbs and has a useful ugly old vice on top of it, great fabrication table, not going to move no matter what. This is free, because ill be damned if im ever moving it again. once was enough. I can tell you from experience that it will fit in the medium sized uhaul open trailer and we can use my engine hoist and floor jack to maneuver the bastard into the trailer.

Ill be posting up pics later and getting firm measurements on the tables for anyone interested. All these items are located in Central Falls Rhode island, 02863, which is a criminal bedroom community of Providence RI, right next door.

The lift and air compressor are hooked up and operating if you want to test them out and look them over. PM if you are interested in any of these items

also interested in trades. Looking around for a decent wrangler 5-speed. Id trade all this stuff for a YJ not rusted out

(08-04-2014, 08:06 PM)Greazzer Is the air compressor 3 phase?

I have been trying to figure out how to answer this question intelligently since you asked it, and I have to settle on I dont know.

I cannot recall if the electrician said this was 220 or 110, 3 phase or single phase or if he had to convert something or some other hocus pocus. I can remember a discussion about it is all. Obviously this is pretty important data, ill try to see if I can get someone better versed in these things to look at the compressor

Here is a video of the compressor-

lift pics- (these are when I was first taking it apart for reassembly reference, so some pieces are removed already, but it is complete)

I really wish you were a lot closer. Shipping would be a killer. I really need an old skool air compressor. I bet its 220. If it's 3 phase, that will get rid of a lot of folks since phase converters only last so long ... dont ask me how I know.

do you need a dump trailer? also have one of those for sale, could strap the compressor into the trailer and tow it home. hell of a drive though! Big Grin

steel tables- Angle iron construction, tops are either 1/4 or 3/8ths steel plate (vice not included) One of them has an angle iron projection that continues up I neglected to mention. This was for mounting a spring compressor, but could be used for anything, or just cut off

the problem is they want to use my hydraulic equipment to get it done, or have me deliver it. id film if it wasnt a film of my stuff being destroyed

fortunately the parade of jokers is over because a guy showed up with a flatbed behind a cummins dually and took the last two tables. we used the engine hoist to pick up one end, then rolled the thing on the trailer using vehicle dollys ,worked beautifully!

all youd need was another ranger with the wheel lock undone and facing bed to bed. Big Grin
