Does anyone know the size of the vacuum pump line. Tried googling but came up with nothing. Thanks in advance

About 8-9mm ID. 3/8" hydraulic hose nicely fits over the barbed outlet(inlet?) of the vacuum pump - assuming you mean the engine powered vac pump not electric central locking variety..

If I remove the alda do I need a block off plate or will it being open be fine?

It need to be blocked off. You can heat the hose at the manifold side with a lighter and pull it off the barb. THen you have a nice place to get a feed for your boost gauge.

larsalan I guess I need to look at this stupid ass drip shit. What you have to like mess with those elements on the pump? What a fucking hassle. then use some wire to hold the throttle open or some shit?

OK cool thanks for the reply. I tried starting it today and she won't fire just cranks and nothing. Loosened 2 injector lines and she's getting fuel but I think there's air in it still kinda bubbled out. What's the best way to get all the air out

I've found that it takes quite a bit of cranking to get fuel all the way through the system. Like it may even take 1.5 minutes. I have not actually timed it, but its easily long enough to think "This isn't working, something must be wrong!"

1992 W201 190D 2.0L and 1971 W108 280SE with OM606, electronic pump and 6 speed manual gearbox.
