Just brainstorming, I'm a bit of a mustang fan boy. All the mustang guys do subframe connectors, heck even my dad did on his foxbody.

Has anybody thought about attempting subframe connectors on our cars? Might really stiffen up the handling!

I wonder if there would be any place to connect them?

-1982 300D Turbo, 280k miles, ALDA apparently maxxed, fram 8038, 12 lbs boost, non-egr manifolds, W/M injection, 4 brake light mod, Gen II w126 front rotors/calipers, 4-speed swap
In the works: A/W IC, adjust pump, turbo rebuild (w/60 trim comp wheel)
-1980 300SD, 110k, project car. Goal is to get it lookin' like it did on the showroom floor (body and interior wise, not necessarily under the hood )
-1974 240D, FRESH PAINT!!!!!!

The stang k-member was hard mounted to the body. Not so for the rear subframe on a 123. Making subframe mounts out of delrin will really stiffen things up!

not to pick on the domestics here... but there chassis are awfully floppy compared M-B's. Maybe if you have a 10sec door slammer W123 there may need to be some bracing. But probably not.

Very true, virgin foxbodies snap the first 1/4 pass if the have been hopped up with a mild 302 lol.

I'd just like to stiffen up my 123, preferably without cutting the springs in half. Thinking about sacking up and buying adjustable konis.
