larsalan I guess I need to look at this stupid ass drip shit. What you have to like mess with those elements on the pump? What a fucking hassle. then use some wire to hold the throttle open or some shit?
Not that I know of, but it sounds like a good use for the EGR tube

Here is a custom om605 exhaust manifold on the way to completion courtesy of F-tune Performance in Sweden.

Beautiful exhaust manifold work. Why put the charger so low? Would it fit there if all factory accessories were there? (I don't own a 605, I'm just curious)
(01-13-2014, 08:46 PM)ben2go Is that titanium?Looks really good.

Thanks! No it's normal mild steel (I think that's what it's called in English)

Hi guys, here is how an exhaust manifold comes together @ F-tune Performance in Sweden.
This is a mild steel manifold for a om606 in a w124 chassis.
Collector made
Pipes spot welded
Port filing
Smooth transition
More filing
Has to be smooth
Close up of the wastegate tube filing.
Care for a EGT-bung? Or six
All done
Hope you like it.
Nice what kind of EGT gauge are you going to run
Looks like ports for Corsa datalogger or something similar, where it logs all data into a computer from each and every cylinder. Very cool technology.
That corsa thing is insanely expensive. That's pricing from ten years ago. Check out 14point7's $200 idash. Makes the corsa look obsolete. http://www.14point7.com/products/idash
Thanks guys. This is for a customer in Holland (The Netherlands), he will run six normal analog EGT-gauges. A lot of gauges but at least he will be safe when going for maximum power. I believe this will be the fastest diesel car in Holland
Right now Dieselmeken is building an awesome IP for him

8mm But other than that there are no special stuff done what I know of
Did a om605 exhaust manifold last week, finished it of today.
Enjoy!
om606 exhaust manifold for you guys.
One of the biggest failures I've seen yet.
om603
And people are actually paying for this stuff
I've been looking for a pic of an F-tune divided collector, 6 cyl specifically. Are yours better than these? :p

Hahaha, yea we are We do very little divided actually, but that's the customers choice. How ever if going divided on a 6cy we recommend that you go for a t4 flange instead of a t3. Fitting 3cyl in to less than half a t3 is not super efficient.
I actually don't have a picture either on the computer or my trusted phone (aka camera of choice).

FRAS, how much would a t3 603 manifold cost about?
Those cast w140 mainfold are hard to find!

I've heard of a range... $250-$350 including shipping. I think someone here got one from ebay.de for $275 shipped to the US?
If you can source some I think we have a market... I'm looking for one if the price is right and a friend of mine would be in for one or two.
om604 8mm Diselmeken IP, gt3076r a/r 0,63
Thermal barrier coating on exhaust manifold and turbine housing.
om617 getting there
Nice! I'll take one!
Could anyone make an adapter flange to bolt an OM603 manifold onto an OM606 head?
Something similar to the Dieselmeken flange, but with extra threaded holes for attaching the 603 manifold and with the size of the round outlet ports matching.
I will buy one right away.
Something like this? Bolt pattern is very tight.
It`s OM606 flange with OM603 bolt holes.
Here is E36 turbo manifold I made to my friends car some years ago. Will not fit
I suggest you to make new custom manifold for your engine. Fitting another manifold is really PITA. Position of turbo can`t be change and so on.
I have many exhaust flange drawings. I can check what engines have same cylinder spacing like OM606.
I've been looking into using other non-MB manifolds too and have found only one possible candidate which is early Jaguar 4.2L inline but turbo manifolds are not common. I overlay a OM606 exhaust manifold gasket and the port spacing seems identical except that the Jag ports are rectangular.
Can anyone recommend a free site I can use to share my pix?

Did a more "normal" flange for a customer. As you understand the customer will weld his own exhaust manifold on this and therefore we don't put any work in to the surface finish.
Half of a new 606 manifold from the same guy who made Sultzi's, Pyry Takkunen.
