I'm participating in a thread where another member is asking exactly how strong an OM642 is - as in, how much use and abuse can it take?

1991 350SDL, burning oil and slow
1991 500SL, yet another project car
1984 190D, swapped 3.6 m104 with a megasquirt

Ive seen one last over 70k miles w/out a rear main bearing installed, eventually cracked the flywheel in a GL
