I thought I would share my progress as the initial startup draws close. You know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words:

Here is a "body shot" from almost 2yrs ago:

Yes, that is a 603 pump but it has 606 guts. I am still undecided about wastegate control but the pump was configured with my modest goals. I didn't want a larger pump as this is being configured for light towing capacity, I do not need big power just reliable >300ft-lbs will make me happy.

I do also have a very fast C32 fs currently in NC headed back to FL once the wagon is done. Peddling it off for bike money now that I can do so many great rides in 4hrs or less. If I still have the C32 here in the spring I might do one more SRT Dragon run if any of you own/lurk there too.

I'll try to answer questions but I wont be doing a full build thread...

Yeah, I was between this and rhino linering the whole car. I was after more of a carbon look but when all was said and done its a metallic black. I dont have any close ups of it and for the time being its 12hrs away from me.

Your wagon is badass!! Did you do the paint? What's the finish called on your wheels?
I want to copycat on my W123 wagon &/or Impreza wagon!
Does it have SLS suspension?
Keep it up!

The wheels are TSW nurburgring in bronze finish. I stuck with 17's as I intended to use this trackside in FL which is generally sugar sand to pull my C32 which was the precursor (I have owned the C32 8yrs and the Wagon 4yrs) of this theme as in it runs the same TSW's in 18" gunmetal w/polished face. The C32 was reaching unstable levels, as we ported the head and set the car up for ethanol so I needed a new DD and figured I could make a W124 Estate car suit my needs. I have taken it to sebring 12hr 3 of the 4 years I have owned it and used a twin air mattress in the trunk for my redneck camper. It gets quite chilly there in March so I do not to use a popup tent.

The paint is a Dodge Carbon color with a black basecoat, and BC101 the specific details would vary painter to painter but I am very happy with the results.

I specifically bought a wagon for the SLS, I would not remove it. I had planned to pull a tandem axle trailer with elec brakes on both axles. I also upgraded to 4/2 pot brakes, 129 LCA's, Bilstein HD's and H&R SLS springs.

I am now looking at pulling a enclosed car transport trailer (8.5x16) with a few motorcycles now that I have moved to NC. We rebuilt the trans and hardened what we could to take the added stress, and the IP was rebuilt with 6MM parts and should be dialed in 14~18 psi. I dont want to change the turbo "yet" because I am more concerned about down low tq. I have what I feel is a modest goal of 200hp/300tq a the crank for now, and 200whp whenever I get around to the turbo. From what I read this can be done on a stock 1999 engine, which is essentially what I am running.

Like I said before I have a 400whp C32 when I want to go fast, and I am changing to 2 wheeled devices because there is "nothing" left to make my C32 faster than a block swap.

exhaust is connected, linkages are "working" but not finished and I'm told it has great power considering no boost. Now to get the IC plumbing done and start logging miles.
