No head casting number on my om603
Should be somewhere behind 2nd injector... Bit hard to spot on turbo engine.

However, there's at least a way to tell if it is a Turbo or n/a cylinder head. Without the number...

12-29-2014, 05:22 PM #6Hmm - any signs of grinding?? I have seen heads where cutting tools from manufacturing took away SMAL parts of the number... But the whole number seems unlikely!
However, there's at least a way to tell if it is a Turbo or n/a cylinder head. Without the number...

Have you looked under the valve cover??

Very interesting. I know the 605 was license to ssyong perhaps the 603 was licensed as well to a similar company and this is one of those?
