which electric fuel pump for 7,5mm pump?
hi
does anybody have a clear answer to my question?
Im driving a 7,5mm pump in my OM 602 and i want to have a full IP and not a half-full or should I say half-empty Pump and elements

I use a bosch 044 copy, that delivers up to 5-6 bar and thats is way to much.
So now I have a regulator to get the preasure down. Before I got preasure regulator I was blowing fuel lines because I dident undrestand the hole picture.
Now I bought another electric fuel pump that delivers about 1,5 bar and I dont need a regulator makes all easyer and the fuel lines is not streesed, and thats enough for my 606 with 8mm170cc pump thats adjusted down. Probobly it can delivers enough fuel if I desire to turn the pump up max.
The fuel pump I bought at summit racing, think it was a carter type,,,
You should have 3bar with a Dieselmeken 7.5mm IP. Use a Bosch 044 back by the tank and remove the restriction on the return off the IP and fit a normal banjo-bolt then put a FPR on the return line and adjust the pressure to 3bar.
Easy and works every time.
