OM605 C250 TurboDiesel Pump
OM605 C250 TurboDiesel Pump
Thanks for your help Tom. E300TD are common in the UK so getting an OM606 pump would be a easier option. I’m not looking to make figures that would need 7.5mm elements.
Thanks for the links, reading through his threads some people said that the OM605.960 Mercedes C 250 TD is fitted with 6mm elements.
Quote from his thread:
“Wayne, yes the OM605 turbo pump should also have 6mm elements. You can tell for sure if your pump tag has the full Bosch designation, PES5M60CxxxRSxxx as shown in the photo below. Not all the electronic pumps have that though.”
From another link I got the part numbers, which would match:
0 400 195 004
PES 5 M 60 C 320 RS 205
RE 22
Does anyone have the bosch part numbers for the 6mm elements?
Thanks
1 418 305 553 element of 0 400 195 004 engine 605.960
1 418 305 554 element of 0 400 196 003 engine 606.962
the delivery valves are identical on the 2 pumps, no idea what is the difference of the elements.
(sorry for my mistake, did not realise it is the electronic governor pump)
Tom
From what I have found non turbo versions of the 605 were fitted with 5.5mm elements.
0 400 195 001
PES5M55C320RS202
(0 420 090 002)
Mercedes C 250 D (202) 83 kw OM 605.910
Mercedes E 250 D (210) 83 kw OM 605.912
Mercedes E 250 D T (210) 83 kw OM 605.912
I’m fitting a VNT turbo so leaving the pump standard should make mapping the electronic pump easier.
I was looking at other threads that state the standard 6mm pump should be fine for around 200hp+? Although this is in a 606.
Thanks again.

Do you know what power 6mm produce in the 5cyl?

Ok thanks for the info.
I have a Garrett GT2359V and will be programming the ECU to control the vanes. The car already has an intercooler fitted.
I’m struggling to find any info on the standard boost level or what the turbo can safely run?
