I have stiffer springs and am just wondering how high I can safety go. I would really like to make good use of this turbo. How high are people reving without stiffer springs?

i dont have stiffer Springs on my 605 and used to run it at 5k, i still do sometimes but now i dont need it.
the problem u´ll face probably will be MAX RPM adjustment. thats probably what will limit your high rpm!
regards

Is it still driveable when the rev limit is increased to 7k? I hear the idle gets messed up.

I'd like to know this as well. I want to do as much as I can with the stock pump on a 98 e300. Are there after market cams or has anyone had the cams reground for added performance?

We do cams Smile

F-tune

The IP (Injection Pump) had to be built for those revs. Our top revving IP is the Crazy Jim edition from Dieselmeken that did 7250rpm.

You can't just turn the stock IP up Tongue

I got a guy in texas that is 100% fluent in the p pump I'm sure he can figure this one out. Maybe a second pump is in order to send to him and have him go to town after I order the 7.5mm's. How much for cams? And does kkd still make the turbo manifolds. I like there's over the other style. Sorry to thread jack OP

I can't comment on KKD, we sell our own stuff.

Texas P-pump guy might not be a STDer. Think that trough... There is only one Dieselmeken and there is a reason for that.

Don't have the figures on top of my head, but shoot me a message on the facebook site or in a PM here and we'll talk your needs through.
