Zeeman, I've got a set of 5 new old stock Mahle turbo pistons, rings & pins I've been hoarding that I could be persuaded to sell if you'd want them. The money would go towards my 1st super pump!
PM me with an offer but I don't want to separate the set.

'06.5 VW Jetta TDI - 230k
'82 MB 300TD - 116k (motor going to raysorenson)
'81 MB 300TD - 195k (parting out)

I've got 4 "ok" pistons. Came out of 285,000 mile motor. The ring lands are probably close to the wear limit for side clearance. I can send you some pics on monday when I'm back at the shop.
