Ok, 

So I am doing a 6 pot AMG caliper swap on a w124 for a customer. Going to get some custom mounting brackets made to use the 345 mm rotors off of a 4pot AMG caliper c55 instead of the 360mm from the later clk and slk. This will make using these brakes a lot more economical. 125 a rotor vs 700 a rotor.  I can run more sets and I am also looking to make a setup to reverse mount the calipers so there will be no fitment issues. I am going to move the bleeders to the other side and have a new crossover tube made for them. 
Main question is would anyone be interested in the hardware to do this. I am looking at around 300.00 for the brackets and what ever the lines cost. I would assume another 100-200 depending on the setup and volume. They will still only fit under 18" wheels. This would still be cheaper than 1 rotor.

So this hardware allows you to mount 6 pot amg's on all w124's? what car if any are the 6 pot's from? also im assuming these are only for the front brakes.

Yes, this would be for any w124, r129, and the w201. And this is only for the fronts. The brakes are from the r171/w209 55 amg.
The fronts do require a different backing plate or modifications to the plate or removal.

If you want to use 17" wheels I suggest 345x30/32 discs and 4-pot calipers.  6-pot calipers are for 360mm rotor.
ML430 has 345x32mm rotors. W203 C32K has 345x30 rotors. To W201 C32 calipers and rotors are basically bolt-on but much more expensive than ML ones. 

I used ML430 calipers (120 euros per 2pcs) and rotors. I did aluminum center flanges to change offset. I have 63AMG calipers and rotors too but I wanted 17" wheels for track. 
6-pot calipers are overkill I think.

That is great. I am just gauging interest in this. I have 4 pots on my car and the c32 calipers are not bolt on. You have to change the rear body for the brake line and shim them to center on the rotor. For a street car any brake upgrade is overkill. The cars stop just fine with stock brakes on them.

I would totally be interested. These are probably significantly more powerful than the E420 W124 brakes I was originally planning on.

i locked up front wheels 225/45r17 at 60mph something with these in place. not shure anyone would need anything better than that on a w123 that has anything normal over it.

althou the r107 working with 14inch i think, where w126gen2 requires 15". 

or are you after the "cool-factor" of fourpots?

4 pot stopping power over 2 pot is noticeable. I've lusted over 6 pots for a while but really dont see much need for them for my use. Have you guys seen the 8pot? I mean I like pot as much as the next guy but you can really start to have a problem.

I think the difference is in how the pressure is spread across the pad and rotor, were the laws of fluid pressure don't apply. unless im missing something.

Yeah, you're right. If there's a limited area of swept surface, extra pistons can do a better job of distributing force. I was just pointing out that more doesn't=better.

The car looks great with the 17's and the 4 pots fill them perfectly! Brake upgrade is basically the last thing i need to do on my W124. I also want to keep 17's for better tire sizes, i have 17x8.5 E500 wheels that i like alot.

Any chance you would sell a pre-made bracket? I dont have any tools/materials to make a set myself.

You can send drawing to company which has laser/water cut or CNC mill.

i get your point, but if im not misstaken, the r107 4pot is still fittable under a 14" wheel, and not extremely thick.

if i remember correctly 284mm diameter, vs gen1 w126 at 278 and gen 2 at 300mm
a long "smal" pad would seem less good than the later w126 witch presses against a longer part of the diameter + longer out. 

the problem in my world not being stopping power but hot discs+pads, logic would say heat disposal would be less good + tighter to the hub = less braking power compared to the gen2 + hotter discs. 

im not trying to be an arse, but just curious why someone wants to build an adapter to fit the 4pot on a w123 including problems, compared to the in my world "better brakes" from the w126 gen2. if i get a good argument, future w123 brakerebuilds might end up being from a r107 instead of the current w126s.

I actually am using the gen 2 126 brakes and they are super fantastic. its just hard to find wheels that fit them well without spacers or paying out the ass. I think that were the 107 4 pots shine. you can use the stock 14's. And its a 100x better then the non vented stock 240d brakes, scary. the 300's I've seen though seem to have vented disks, u lucky people.

Did the late[post 85] 560sl have 4-pots with the 300mm disks? also r107 right? i would think that'd be the ticket, but only if the pads are bigger, otherwise i see it as a waste.

I've always rode my gear's, really you have to if your gonna drive a stock 240d in the mountains. Really helps keep your brakes from getting hot, lol. not sure how it is on the engine but whatever. trucks do that and they last forever so i should be good right?

BTW sorry to kinda highjack this thread. also that's a beautiful 124 and I'd love the brakes you have on it. But of course i cannot have those without some major effort I'm not willing to put forth.
