Just built my Superturbo diesel om603 and it seems to run well. But today when I was going to start up the engine it had rough idle And White smoke . Then the engine died and I had to start again and had to keep full throttle for a few seconds till It Starts to run well .
But now i feel like the engine is power less and Sounds like I got air leek when the boost come .
Sorry for my bad english but hope someone understands and can help me Smile

Could be just a bad glow plug with the starting. You would know better then us if you got a boost leak.

White smoke is not necessarily head gasket. White smoke is fuel that is even more unburned than black smoke. Does the white smoke go away? Does it start running okay after a while? If so its probably a glow plug or two.
Fix that and then move on to your boost issues.

White smoke is more like evaporated fuel lol.
What happens when it warms up ?

white smoke is due to combustion temperature, too low combustion temperature. blown head gaskets result in normal driving , but very high coolant temperature , or overpressure in the coolant or oil in the coolant , or coolant in the oil, one of this simptoms is the simptoms of burned head gasket.
good luck.
