The stock turbo and exhaust manifold mate to one another with a unique triangular flange with 3 bolts/studs. The hx35 (and most other turbos) use a rectangular 4 bolt flange so it is not bolt-on.
I don't have experience with the chip tunes but I know the stock exhaust manifold will perform poorly (high back pressure and EGT).
My opinion is to try to improve the efficiency of the intake charge air with bigger/better intercooler, chip tune, EDC maxed out, water/meth injection, etc. before swapping out turbos & custom manifolds.
The modest increase you'll get might satisfy your desire for more power but it'll definitely be cheaper than custom manifolds.

Oh boy. EDC refers to the electronic diesel control type of fuel injection pump (that you have) which can be swapped for an earlier mechanical version from either a OM606 or OM603 or remain electronic if only chip tuning.
All this stuff is covered many places on this and other sites. You've got some reading to do ;-)

Here's an adapter for your exhaust manifold. I suggest getting an entire tubular manifold though. They're available from many sources.
