Hello.

I have an `89  190 2.5 Td.

I recently noticed a decrease in performance.

Everything seems to be in order.

I installed a manometer and produces only 0.5 bar boost.

With wastegate off only produces 0.65 bar.

The gauge is connected to the output of manifold to Alda, is that correct?

Wanted to know what you think of these values.

Thank you very much in advance.

Regards.

something is wrong, for sure...
u should conect the boost indicator in the engine plennum. and be sure there´s no leak in the system or clogging.
it can be due many things, 89 car sold in europe should have EGR system? correct?
if i were u i would start by , leaks, after be sure EGR system operates, then we´ll what else.
sometimes a small thing like a leaking vac line lead to that.

Regards...

Thank you very much, Barrote.

My car does not have EGR.
I will repeat the test with another gauge to see if it has same results.
It should reach about 0.85 Bar, right?
Greetings!

When did you changed fuel filter? I would check to make sure is not clogged.

1977 300D for parts? Just a pile of rust but still runs!
1984 190D 2.2 - gone to better home
1987 Dodge Maxivan with OM603 and Goran’s 7.5 backroads terror
1987 300TD - tinker toy
1989 300TE - parts
1991 300TE - backyards decor
1991 300TD - Barrote’s 7.5
1992 300TD - semi-STD(Goran modified 7.5 ip but still with factory turbo+at)
1998 E300TD - dd with DSL1 now
1998 ML320 - snow ride
2014 Sprinter 2500 - Malone’s tune + pedal box

Hello Anjay.

Air and fuel filters only have 8000 km.
I will change the fuel filter again to secure. (I have pending to check the filter at the tank)
Thanks and greetings!

Hello, good day.
It seems that already goes well.
I deleted solenoid between manifold and alda, now boost is 0.8 bar.
It seems that the problem was in that piece.
Regards.
