I have no idea I'm afraid, the ML gearbox I have came from a breaker so I don't have any of the VIN etc. All I can tell you is that it came from a ML270CDI. Is that any help?

Its only the shaft I'm after to join onto the Land Rover input shaft.

EDIT: I've sent a message to ask the breakers if they can give me the VIN number.

Have a look on Lr4x4.com. My build thread is on there.

I'll be close coupling the merc box With the lt230 Smile. Machining an adaptor to suit.

Since posting again, a mate has come up trumps with the EPC.

The 'shaft' I'm after is actually part of the first planetary set in the transferbox, part number: 1632820002
