Hi,

I already asked this in the pinned turbocharger-thread, but got not answer yet. Maybe not everybody is reading there.

As my OM605.960 with electrical pump and 722.6 in my 124 is running now, I am thinking about future mods on the engine. I like the torque of the engine between 2500 and 3500rpm it is surely enough for me. What I would like is a faster spool-up. No need to make it spool at under 2000rpm as the transmission shifts back at high loads, but it takes two seconds to build up boost at 2500rpm which I think is too long. It would also be nice to have more boost at higher rpms. The stock turbo looses boost above 3300rpm, I dont know yet if that is an ECU decision. So if I could keep boost up to higher revs the engine could gain some horsepower there. Maybe I have to get a remap. I dont want more than 200hp and I want it smoke-free.

So basically the question is: GT2259V from 270CDI and GT2359V from 320CDI are very cheap to get here, 50 euros or less. I already got a GT2259V for free, would this one be good for my needs, or is the GT2359V better?

hy there,
well u seem to have a fueling issue.... turbo pressure among other things is related to fueling....
for 200hp the stock GT20 can do that... the lag u have now maybe related to EGR system being operational.... and it shuts to cruise mode after 3500....
i have a gt2359 in my 605 but it is running a 150cc pump .... it works well but with a stock pump wont blow, maybe the 2256 will blow good enough, the thing is how u will controll the vanes though....
for the pump i can help u, for the turbo controll too... just pm me
regards
