The good news, as you say, is they have revived the rolling forward part, but i believe they've changed it to a 40 year rolling, not 25.
With the rust that plagued most W202, i doubt most, including mine will last another 20 years.

Car is running pretty well now, i have a 606 turbocharger beside now and waiting for having some time to fit it together with a remap.
Here a few new pics from me trying out a few first drifts beside the street in the wet with stock turbo, evry and pressure actuator. It was very much fun and worked pretty well for me  2nd gear is easy going, for the 3rd gear the corner was to tight Tongue

To get a not of an update here i will tell you what i´m doing right now. I just got and ecu from sean with an very agressive map. After a little problem with my clutch pedal the car was running on stock turbocharger and the new ecu tune. Power was good, boost was about 1,5 bar and the car pulled up until the rev limited hits. Then i decided to swap for a bigger turbo, the kkk14 from om606.
I put everything in and had great power! But the response of the throttle was not good enough for drifting. It just takes to long to kick in to drift. So i decided to swap the stock actuator to a pressure controlled one.
At the moment i´m cruisin around with around 1 bar pressure and not a lot of power due to the stock pressure actuator of an om602. I´ll get a manual boost controller soon and will do some videos of acceleration etc. I hope i will get about 1,5 bar constant boost and egt´s below 700...

Managed to participate my first drift training ever. It was on Driftpark at the Nürburgring, and it was so much fun! Only BMWs and a few mx5 and my merc
I was surprised how good the car did, also if i need to say that my driftangle was very low compared to all the others  But with more practise is became much better. Here a few pics:

I will go for another drift events soon, and i´m defenetly addicted
next steps on the car will be exhaust cut out before cat and maybe a handbrake, cause the mercs only have that stupid footbreak

Got questions, normally my water cooling temperature is a little bit lower than 80°C, while drifting it goes after a little while to about 95°C, but then stays at this level. Is this still ok?
EGT goes to about 700-800°C when accelerating 2nd 3rd and 4th gear with full throttle. I have Kkk14 Turbo about 1,6 bar boost preassure and all silencers and cat. Would a cutout before the cat reduce my EGT a lot?

AFAIK, the thermostat opens at 78°celsius, my c250dt om605 also shows most of the time just below 80°c,
gets over 90° on the highway.

Does your car now have the original intercooler again? That might be the reason for high EGT.

Here in Austria the catalytic converter is not relevant for inspection, but the exhaust must look original.
I removed the ceramic core from the catalytic converter, maybe that is an option for you, too.

BTW: I think I got the same T3/T4 Turbo like you, where did you buy the oil lines and what's the length and the threads of the lines?
On the ebay turbo I got no "pipe" for the bottom oil return line (the one with the rectangular outlet).
Can I use the "pipe" from the original turbo?

Thx for your help
