Its a sad day here but after 5 weeks I have came to the conclusion that Turbo Labs of America either just stole my turbo or they messed it up machining it so they wont send it back. They went cold turkey on my calls and both Ian and Austin's voicemails are both full. I really wanted to be the first person to try the bigger wheel in my HE351VE but I cant and at this point am probably going to move to a different turbo. I suggest no one do any business with them. Im going to try to pursue legal action but I dont know how far I will get with that.
I know other people were thinking about doing mods to there Holset, if anyone could maybe email them asking why they stole my turbo or what happened that would be great.

I'd recommend sending a certified letter (needs to be signed for) outlining your dissatisfaction so you know that they got it and (presumably) read it, before taking the matter to small claims.
Hope it helps!

Sounds like another dissatisfied customer trying to use American turbo 'expertise'. I learned several years ago to spend the money and deal with reputable European folks experienced in small engine turbos. For the most part, Americans should stick with the large diesel turbos found on CAT and other large diesel engines powering 18 wheelers and bulldozers Exclamation .

There you go. Seriously though, I had a bad experience with an outfit called Gpopshop and vowed to deal across the pond thenceforth especially with the small TDI turbos I've had in the past. Something indeed sounds fishy and I sure would contact the internet police if you dealt with them through the net if they won't make yours right. If they were local to you. crd4x4 is right. Usually letting these companies know you mean business is enough. Try the BBB first. I've had good look with my state Attorney General too. Good luck!

5 weeks and no contact is bad. Don't give up hope, their might be a little light peeking through yet. But either way I agree that it is unacceptable to have a business not return your attempts at contacting them.
It's normal for cams/pumps/turbos/ not come back for months. But again, the no contact thing..

How can you possibly be surprised that that guy doesn't respond? It is clear from everything I can see that he is like a one man operation. He probably has like 5 jillion turbos to modify, and has to set up differently for each type. I doubt he is a thief, but wouldn't be surprised if you have to wait awhile to get yours back. Start commenting negatively on his youtube vids and I bet you will get a response.

Its kind of capricious in my opinion to be sending stuff to fly by night youtube personalities who look like they are in high school and can't even put together a credible youtube video at that, when there are probably two or three excellent turbo and injection shops within 30 miles of minneapolis or wherever you are who would know clouds more than that guy about everything and would likely be able to do whatever you want.

Nothing against turbolabs, but to me the whole thing screams shoestring operation and a guy with limited understanding of the "why" behind turbo customization completely running a business out of his garage.

Honestly I have gotten so few words of communication from them. If I even ask any question about what happened they just ignore it and dont respond.

Yeah I have seem all that stuff now. All same storys of mine. Well its good to know they do good work at least. They just absolutely suck at customer service. It was crazy how good their customer service was until I sent the turbo. Then just responses died. My tracking number says today so I will let you guys know how it looks when I get it.
