What's the highest known power output from an OM613? Doesn't look like there's many people tuning those at the moment.
I recently picked up a W210 E320 CDI and I've got no plans but want to see if I can make it a little better.

It will do 180-190kW "as-is". Then first bottleneck are small injectors and CP1 which will not support greater power anyway. I have upgraded C30CDI injectors and CP3-L110 pump, it burns cleanly around 125mm3 so my guessing is that it makes 220-240kW. Could go much higher but GB will fall apart. Anyway look at Blacksmoke OM648 compound build. They had 500+HP and mechanically it is exactly the same engine except it is working on higher rail pressure from factory.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ex: 525tds 130kW, C250TD 160kW, E320CDI 200kW, ML400CDI 230kW, A6 R5TDI 130kW
Now: Q7 V8TDI 240kW, 320d 150kW, 335d 210kW

Gear box.. it is W580 hence made for maximum of 580. It is reported to hold more but for how long and it is not new.. so you would have to strenghten it or mount one from S600 biturbo which will withstand 1000Nm just fine.

the 722.6 comes in many different ratings the w580 means its rated to hold 580NM of torque. the highest rated ones are from some amg and s600 models they're rated at 1000NM

722.6xx is also called w5a380, w5a580 or w5a900 .

What you can do is indeed like the guys say: take the most beefy gearbox, but then swap the bellhousings, because of the different bolt patterns.

Does the OM613 use the same bellhousing as the OM60x engines?

No the bell housing for the om613 is different to the om606 . It  looks similar but is a larger diameter and as such     uses  different diameter flexplate

OM613 and OM648 have unique bellhousing, as fas as I know no other engine uses this pattern.
