Hi. I have a 1995 e300 w124 diesel I'm swapping into a 1993 w201 190e. I know I need to replace springs because of the weight of the diesel,  but would it be worthwhile to swap everything from the suspension? Does the 124 come equipped with better stuff? I would assume that the brakes are bigger? I want to utilize as much as possible before sending it to the junkyard. Thank you very much.

I own a 95 E300 and I i know that brakes are not bigger the E320 has bigger brakes. Is the W201 2.3 or 2.6 ?

My 190e is a 2.3l. It would be great if they were bigger because my w124 brakes and rotors are fairly new also.

Yes, at 284mm vs 262, they are bigger with both at 22mm rotor thickness

Thanks for the advice i just swapped them into the 201 from the 124. Calipers and rotors
Both fit no problem and are both quite a bit bigger. Everything else on the suspension looked identical between cars minus springs sway bars and brakes are beefier on 124. All in all a great cheap bolt on genuine MB upgrade.

1998 w210 e300 TD: egr delete, muffler delete, amg 18s, I love this car!
1995 w124 e300 diesel: bolted on junkyard w210 turbo.. yes you can "easily" boost your om606na! RIP
1991 w201: putting the om606 na to turbo into this. Not enough hours in the day!

the brakes are an easy upgrade, also keep the brakes from the rear as spares (they also fit)

+ is it a wagon?
if so its almost the beefiest of the swaybars, but even with a sedan it will most likely be a big upgrade over the stock one in the w201.
al you have to do is cut about 1-2cm at the end of each side of the swaybar to fit the w124 swaybar in the w201 (front swaybar)

besides that, also the dampers are interchangeable (if the w124s is better)
aswell as the springs, i put w124 springs in my w201, and it got very high, but cut the coils till they are perfect and you will get harder springs as an easy upgrade with stock ridehight.
