Hi Guys,

I received my tuned ECU from SeanT, looking to convert my setup to use this ECU. here a are a few questions:

I converted everything to drive-by wire to use my previous OM603 pump, should I put the original pedal assembly back in? I had a M104 before in the G320.

I also installed a diesel vacuum shut off ignition, should I swap my Canbus tumbler mechanism back?

What else do I need to revert back?

Thank you,

Ernest

If your original setup had the pedal sensor mounted up by the master brake booster, then yes that setup works great. Check that the bowden cable moved smoothly. The one that came with my truck was a bit sticky and a new one really smoothed out the throttle action.

Funny thing in Europe 'drive by wire' would be interpreted as 'fly by wire', where the accelerator gives a signal to the ECU which in turn controls the engine. But I think you (perhaps in USA) mean 'drive by wire' to be an actual cable from the pedal acting mechanically upon the engine. Perhaps just an interesting colloquialism.

Installed:

OM606/722.6, big IC, W220 brakes.
Planned:
DIY manifold, compound, 722.6 controller, built IP.
[i]Less rust..

M104 has throttle position sensor inside the throttle body.

Easiest is to use W210 tps.
