Dyno graphs for OM605/606 setups
Dyno graphs for OM605/606 setups
Can anyone with a 606 or 605 post up your dyno graphs (with spec and boost level) please?
Looking to compare various different turbo's and pump, from standard to wild.
There doesn't seem to be much on google for this, so maybe this could be a good place to share your specs...

I'm wanting around 300-350bhp but with good useable power under 3000rpm, as I'm sure many other people do. What use is 450bhp at 5000rpm with nothing below?!

I have this graph from the car, this doesnt show the reality under 3000rpm. The dyno run was pretty quick without trying to get the engine spool. Will be going back probably later on to get broader graph of the engine. Boost was here only ~2,3bar. Dyno graph is whp.

This engine has 3bar of boost around 2200-2400rpm on the road if i want to (with turbine locked), but i have all stock bottom end so basically when i normally drive the turbine lets the rpms to go around 3000rpm when accelerating from low speeds (saves the bottom end and is brilliant as a daily driver).
Specs are:
-om606 turbo engine
-7,5mm dieselmeken
-km cams valve springs
-self ported head (mainly in the valve area where these heads have bad flowing casting)
-Pyry Takkunen's exhaust manifolds
-Twin 60mm wastegates
-Master Power R545 (54/59 with #9 turbine)
-Master Power R6568 (65/68 with a/r 1.05)
-3x laminovas in the om606 n/a manifold for water to air intercooler
Hi barrote, this is compound setup. I have been driving on the road with 3bar of boost and trying to keep both turbos around pr of 2. At the dyno we were only using 2,3bars due lack of time.
Just went with big wastegates to get enough airflow, expesially with the hp turbo wastegate to control also backpressure. But these could also been smaller and good quality ports, example 50mm turbosmarts/tial/precision etc. I have these chinese made crap (cheap, only reason why I went with these) and they dont seem to work very well with daily driver which gets a lot of miles.
