Hello first to all in this forum. I've been reading all these topics for months, and I'm currently building a G W463 Om 606. I have found and implemented many useful ways of thinking.

I hope that a specialist can help me here:

I have my 24C02 Chip from my control unit soldered and read with the programmer. but something went wrong writing on the chip and also the original file is apparently damaged.
after writing my chip and soldering in the ECU I had a VIRGIN ECU !!!!!!!! Smile

I had to enter a variant coding and the chassis number with the star diagnosis to start the vehicle. Like a new ECU from Mercedes dealer. Vehicle runs without any problems except: I get the error message after each start or shutdown "(P1617 ECU ERE Eebrom or wrong code) I could not lock the ECU with the tester, but it has locked itself after 40 starts.
NO Errors and everything functions- even the cruise control !!!!.

My question to you: can someone delete the error code from the ECU as for example EGR or MAF delete. Idea

If you have the immobilizer defeat installed, then you can have the bits from my ECU. This is out of a 1996 G300.

Thanx for Help , i fix the Problem, it was the wrong Variantencodierung. I make the Immochip eebrom 24c02 Virging and coding it with Stardiagnosis.. Now it works!!!!

Be carefull when you read Original Bosch Chips ( i become not all Data) and not write it. buy a ST24c02 and write on this.

This works for Om 605 and 606 Engines

And now i have a Way to use the Cruisecontol with Ecus with the Immo Emulator. i testet it on W202 and W463 with FS2 mehanikal Key.

Next test is W210 with electrikal Key!!!

The original 24c02 chips are starting to lose their memory cells.  My ECU quit because it lost a bit in the DAS keycode area.  To get it running again I installed and coded in the immobilizer delete.  I reused the old memory chip, which was a mistake.  6 months later a bit in that keycode dropped out.  Fortunately I kept a copy of the bits.  I wrote those to a new chip and it works well now. 

Can you share the bits for a virgin ECU?

Also, which bits control the EGR type?  There are two types of EGR on the OM606 and the ECU must know which one to expect.  I would like to learn as much as possible about this ECU.  Any help would be appreciated!

Hi send me your 24c02 and variand coding number via pm. If you dont have it send me your vin than i serch your coding..  i do the coding with the stardiag. I try to write it with the hexeditor and ot dont work---with stat it work.the egr you can delet in the map.

I build a open test ecu, there i can make you a file!
