Compounding om606 stock kkk k14 turbo with hx40/40w
Hi guys.
As the tittle says, is it a good idea to use these two turbo in compound setup in my rhd w124 build.
The goal is to get atleast 450hp less laggy and least possible smoke. Already having dsl1 and the edc pump will be build with 7.5 meken elements.
Now I am still new to compounding setup so I know its not gonna be easy, also for such power levels even alone hx40 or bW sx257 is a good choice but as stated two main points above and easy availability of hx40. Thought why not try this route.
Looking for recommendations.

I guess u shouldn't walk that road.
S257 is good for 606 as is in the .78a/r .
It wont lag much... and kick ass any hx crap anytime.
Personally i have s257 with a gt23v in 605 , works rather well... but it is still under development.
Friend has hx30super with k29 reported great ...
K14 for a 4cyl ... and hx crap as LP makes sense...

Been doing so much research about which turbo to choose that I forgot to check my own thread lol.
Back to the topic, I also thought of he221 but controlling vnt is little less confidence inspiring for me. HP he221 seems good and how about hx40super as LP. How would it fair against .84 a/r s257sxe
I am getting a good deal on PTE 6766 with .90( or maybe .94) t4 so thought why not one good single modern powerful turbo.
My main reason for having compound is having 400+hp with least black smoke rather than less lag. One of the reason why I bought dsl1 controller and building 7.5mm edc pump and probably will set it at 150-160cc

Your enemy will be overboost. Be sure to have a good strategy for monitoring boost and ideally a protection cutoff for the fuel.
