For the OM606 version in the W210, there is a resistor and diode fix that allows you to remove the EGR.

AlanMcR For the OM606 version in the W210, there is a resistor and diode fix that allows you to remove the EGR.I was concerned that if these failed at some point and you were on the road some were you would be screwed. I was hoping there would be a way to fool the MAF that the air flow hadn't changed. But I guess this is the only way to eliminate the EGR.

It took some doing to find a drawing of this. For the non electronic people of us. LOL !
