1984 300D TURBO DIESEL Sleeper
Just bought a 1984 300D Turbo Diesel in NE USA.
150K miles on the clock.
So far I have deleted both the EGR and ALDA. I feel I am getting more power in the low end but not a lot of increase in black smoke. I am able to do minor burnouts
What is the next logical component to upgrade? I want to create custom cold air intake. I have also seen available turbo and injection pump upgrades but those are a bit out of budget at the moment.
Any tips on adjusting the gas pedal linkage? The car really has no go until about 3/4 to full throttle.

It *should* already have the best cold air intake right from factory
I believe you left hand drive folk have a bushing on the firewall that wears causing excessive slop in the throttle linkage.
Nice car, just needs the cut and polish finished
