I'm thinking about water/alcohol injection- especially if I go the next step of propane injection. I've contemplated several different systems. I'd like a varying system that injects based on multiple factors. This complexity usually means higher costs. Here's a boost based controller:

it could be added to many systems found online or in ebay.
Here's one:

It seems that the magic number for a 617 is about 500-600cc's, but no one has a system with this capacity in use and then reported it so that we can be sure.

My old system had a flow rate of 300cc/min and gave a 2whp boost. Unfortunately it didn't reduce the EGTs at all.

I'm planning on installing a new 2-stage system this spring. It will have a 600cc/min total flow rate. First stage will be a 100cc nozzle at the intake inlet. Second stage will be 5x100cc nozzles, one at each intake port.

Variable flow rate would be nice but the cost far outweighs the benefits, at least in my case. A variable flow would cost me in the range of $500 while a 2-stage system would cost under $150 since I already have a pump.

powerstrokehelp has a lot of useful videos.

I got a clip from one of his videos for my "Trash empty" sound.
"The heat has just destroyed this. Which means that someone pushed it, they didn't just ease it along, they hammered this son of a bitch."
