...I need to remove the molding above the windows...the rain gutters on my 80 300 CD I can not for the life of me figure out how to remove these. I have tried everything I know and nothing works. Need to remove to paint car correctly!Thanks for an help...Hope I am putting this in the correct thread

The FSM covers it. Basically take a plastic trim tool and a rubber mallet and knock it upwards. To install use a 2x4 and the mallet. Pretty straight forward. Work from rear to front IIRC.

01-05-2012, 01:30 AM #4I am still having problems removing the molding around the rear window on my coupe I have taken pictures please help. I cant remove the felt that guides the window up and the inner chrome strip I need those off first before I can remove the chrome around the rain gutter I know this cause I can see screws coming up behind the gutter please help here is some picks of the problem area....please help
