Hello all,

I've been offered a few sets of ex-touring car (BTCC) tyres (both slicks and wets, in various compounds).

The only thing is, I need some 17" wheels to fit them to, that are 8-9" wide.

Does anyone know of a wheel of this size that will fit, and what car they are off of?

Cheers Frank.

My dad has a set of wheels off a roughly 2002 C230 Sport on his W123. The fronts are 17 x 7.5 and the rears are 17 x 8.5; don't have the offset info on me. The fronts and backs clear without having to use wheel spacers, although 4-5mm spacers in the rear would make them clear a little better! We havent tried mounting a rear to the front to see if it would clear, so I have no info on how wide will fit on the front.

82 300SD aka The Flyin Pumpkin (Gone): 7.5mm super M-pump, T3 60 trim turbo, Coldish air intake, A/W intercooler, propane injection, SW Boost and EGT gauges, Monark 265 nozzles, ported/polished cylinder head.

84 Euro 300D 4 sp: White with black trunk and hood. Blue cloth interior. Manual everything. 300DT front swaybar. C320 17" wheels. Now with the Flyin Pumpkins engine!

pretty dead thread i know but still..

a little spacers and fender work and just about anything will fit. much easier to fit wheels than say some sort of fwd car.

1998 E300TD 7.5mm pump and hx35 to come!

I'm still looking for some wheels, but I'd like to keep it on Mercedes alloys if possible, I'll make them fit, I just need to know what Mercedes models have this size wheels fitted.

A Standard is 235-45- 17 for the 8. For the 9 also fit if u like that style. Or u go to 255 or 265-40-17.
