PM me when you can.
hey dieselmeken. if you are actually doing pumps what is a rough estimate of the work cost?
i know shipping will be a whole different problem lol
Shipping actually isn't that big a deal. I'm curious as to a price for a pump for my car as well.
I think shipping may be around $100 USD each way, which is a pretty hefty price as compared to shipping in CONUS, e.g., under $15.00. I will try to post my research on the shipping issues, vendors, costs, issues.
Here's the scoop on shipping to and fron Sweeden and just shipping in CONUS:
If you want to ship to Sweeden a pump (core - exchange), then assume $80 and that includes $100 worth of insurance. The weight is 16 or 17 pounds. I found that a paper box (reams of paper box) works great. Just cut down the height by 4". Perfect box.
If you get something from Sweeden, assume $145.00 or so. That would not include any insurance.
If you were going to ship a pump in CONUS, assume under $20.00 (about $18.75). Same box and weight as referenced above. Add insurance and your looking at about $22.00 and that includes tracking.
United States Postal Service. Not sure what they use in Sweeden. I will have to check the box.
