vinyl decal racing stripes?
vinyl decal racing stripes?
was curious if anyone has done this. I was having a work vehicle partially wrapped, and it seems like it would be super simple and cheap to have one of these places come up with any kind of old school racing stripes for one of these cars that can just be rubbed on vs actual painting.
cheaper, and simpler to remove or modify if interested
Anyone done this or have any experience with the vinyl wrap stuff?
larsalan I guess I need to look at this stupid ass drip shit. What you have to like mess with those elements on the pump? What a fucking hassle. then use some wire to hold the throttle open or some shit?
I've bought vinyl by the foot on eb@y, they can cut it to length/width for you.

here is why I bring this up, thinking something similar would look great on these MBs-
This is a forum member BryantTF242's car over on turbo bricks (he has since removed the stripe which was vinyl)-
The older MBs share the same kind of slope back like these old volvos, I find the stripe setup he had on the coupe above to be very cool looking on that kind of body style, and think it might look equally good on an MB.
anyone have photoshop?
I was thinking originally about straight over the hood, roof, and trunk stripes, but everyone does that. this is pretty unique looking
EDIT- the look is also combined with a black and white two color hood fyi
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu..........................................................
Any artists out there willing to suggest a pattern or design similar to the AMG pictured above ? Something along the lines of a custom line job, but a subdued version, that embraces this forum and SuperTurboDiesel ? Now, that would be cool. Plus, I think this forum's contributions would smoke the AMG in its day, so I guess this would be the the all encompassing philosohical upgrade to the collective work of this forum.
I was thinking something along these lines would be cool, I saw this car in the parking lot at school one day and had to take a picture so I could try to convince to my friend to paint his '79 diesel rabbit like this lol
