diesel meken's 10mm MW pump???
http://youtu.be/hvNn2fPMexg
i cant be the only one here to have seen this... it was on my recommended for me list on youtube. it says it was posted 6 days ago. what was that pump pushing 130cc of fuel?
That's cool, maybe he can explain further why he only chose to make it 130cc? 10mm could do 300cc easily I bet, unless their is some limiting factor on the mw
talked to him about it
"one of a kind"
so he probably wont be doing more of those yet, "they would be a heck lot more expensive"
(more work? more expensive parts? i dont know) but i understood it more as a one time thing, he had a one night stand with the MW pump, and went back to the almighty wifey, M-pump
(10-06-2013, 05:10 PM)swampmonkey talked to him about itHi Not so much moore work, but alot of moore cost. Element is Bosch original and you all know that it cost alot moore than 60 euro/pc

I suppose you mean EGT temps?
I'm sure measures could be taken to lower them, such as water injection, lower compression maybe, big air to air intercooler, ream PC holes?
Am I on the right track, or out of my mind?

(10-08-2013, 11:19 AM)Duncansport 617 cant flow enough air with its reverse flow cylinder head, as well as being cast iron it cannot absorb as much heat from the combustion event. Coupled with their small port size and inlet manifold being right on top of the exhaust manifold the heat issue becomes even worse. The 617 is a good motor for low down torque with stone ax simplicity and reliability.

I bet those 10mm elements make a nice quick injection though!

Yeah no doubt, the 7.5's in my m-pump made a noticeable difference. Bit noisier at idle is the only down side. And blowing up my engine haha.

WTF? Engine blow up? Idle chatter can be reduced if you set the timíng a bit later than stock.
