10-10-2013, 01:38 PM #1Its a 2003 s500 4matic it has 186k new axles and drive shaft but supposedly needs a transfer case the body is clean the interior needs a detailing the nav screen had a dime sized spot in the middle that doesn't work very annoying and the cup holder is fubar

10-10-2013, 05:16 PM #2I bought it for 2k it makes lifter noise until it warms up and the transfer case or rear diff is make noise. But it runs out nice I'm a little nervous about the engine noise. I'm hoping it just a plugged lifter. I will run some sea foam through it and preform an oil change.

10-11-2013, 02:02 PM #5It clunk while accelerating or deceleration or turning and its A very loud sounds like a drive shaft about to fall off. I better get underneath it and check it the drive shafts where just replaced by the previous owner in the last 1k miles along with the axle shafts. maybe they where not tightened correctly? Any ways a used t/case with low miles can be had for around $600

-1982 300D Turbo, 280k miles, ALDA apparently maxxed, fram 8038, 12 lbs boost, non-egr manifolds, W/M injection, 4 brake light mod, Gen II w126 front rotors/calipers, 4-speed swap
In the works: A/W IC, adjust pump, turbo rebuild (w/60 trim comp wheel)
-1980 300SD, 110k, project car. Goal is to get it lookin' like it did on the showroom floor (body and interior wise, not necessarily under the hood )
-1974 240D, FRESH PAINT!!!!!!
