18" monoblocks w123?
18" monoblocks w123?
Hey fellas, does anyone has experience with a set of 18" monoblocks on a w123?
I have a chance to buy a set with brand new tired for $400
Any mods have to be done? decent price? how's it look?
Anything helps,
Eric
What is the wheel width and offset? I think that's what you need to be concerned about
Not sure. I don't think the guy would know either haha
Looks to be 6 or 8" wide, offset appears to be the same as the 16" monoblocks
Looked up 18" rims on a w123, and they look totally hideous.
So scratch that idea, but thanks anyhow
Yeah I think 17" is about the biggest that would be decent looking. Mine are 16 and they look pretty dope. I do say that a wider wheel on a w123 is way more bitchin' looking than the stock wheel
had 18" earlier, but wasnt to found of spacers (wrong offset) looked good in my opinion, althou they werent monoblocks, they perhaps doesnt look good that large::
17" rims looks good i think
ET35 7" wide i have had no problems.
have some monoblocks copies if you want a picture of that..
In some applications and different rim styles it doesn't look bad, like your swampmonkey, that's a pretty good look.
I am just not a fan of the "baloney skin" tire (as I call them) that you have to run with big rims like that.
