Should bolt up to the engine fine. The rear mount will be different, and it's probably dualmass.

You can re use your existing C180 flywheel. I put a 1992 190e 5 spd behind an OM603. Transmission should be very similar to your C180. I believe the W202 manual pedal box also swaps over into the W124.

Hi sorry to hijack thread. I'm considering a 5 speed manual swap also onto my om606. If I buy a 190d 2.5 diesel with 5 speed manual, will the flywheel fit and be balanced on my om606?
The auto started flaring after driving it for about 30 mins with the ppdiesel pump so I think a manual would hold up bit better.

it will fit but clutch may not hold up. You need a flywheel and clutch setup from a 190e 16v or a 300E manual type setup (9" and 9.5" respectively).

Should even get a performance clutch/pressure plate if you have a built IP.

'98 E300 Turbo "Juliette" - Brabus wheels and almost all the options a w210 could have
'87 300D Turbo "Roxanne" - #22 head - 400E brakes - EGR Delete - 17" Staggered AMG 5 spoke rims from CLK500 - 5 Spd manual
2007 Chevy 2500HD CCSB Duramax with about 400-500 rwhp depending on the tune I use Big Grin
1983 300D Silver Exterior/Black inside - Sold and will be missed, may we never meet in a PnP.
