Michael Schumacher will reportedly be paid €1m per race and a bonus €1m per victory when he begins substituting for injured Ferrari driver Felipe Massa as from the European Grand Prix later this month.
The German daily Die Tageszeitung also said the 40-year-old German is very likely to have his non-driving advisory contract with the Maranello-based team renewed.
The agreement, estimated to be worth at least €5m per season to the seven time world champion, is currently set to expire at the end of the year.
Meanwhile, Schumacher has called off his participation in a motorcycle race this weekend.
He was scheduled to take part in a Dutch Superbike race during the Rizla Racing Day at Assen in the Netherlands.
However due to his impending F1 return, Schumacher has informed the organisers that he will now not be competing, according to the De Telegraaf newspaper.

F1 won't be around much longer. BMW has already left and the new rules will make F1 development even more expensive and less competitive.
ahhh no. bmw is a very new team that has invested alot of money with little to no returns. F1 will be around for along time... trust me. bmw never really rocked the boat anyways.
Really? Everyone? because i dont. also you do understand that DTM is not stock car racing right?
easy. Stock car racing is defined by wiki as-
"Stock car racing is a form of automobile racing found mainly in the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Great Britain and Brazil."
NASCAR is "stock car" racing by name only. Last time I checked, there was no 750hp and RWD Camry, Impala or Fusion for sale. The "Dodge Chargers" are the only ones even imaginatively close to being a "stock" model.
It used to be "Race on Sunday, sell on Monday", but since the 1970's its been "Race on Sunday, who gives a crap about Monday".
