Cam profiles on mechanical pumps
Cam profiles on mechanical pumps
Hi all,
I have now got an OM603 pump, details are:
PES 6M 55C 320 RS156
0 400 076 994
603 0700 101 ER 0007
I know from the details that its an OM603 pump, 6 cylinder with 5.5mm elements, however can anyone shed any further light on the other details - I know the RS156 is the cam profile, I am guessing its just a basic OM603 pump?
u are so far from what those numbers mean......
PES bosch initial reference for light veicle pump sense of rotation
6 M number of cylinders and type of pump
55C element size and inovation code
320 Governor idle speed
RS156 governor type and assembly number, RS RSF governor 156 relates to the basic outsider hardware, ALDA , ADA, ELR, IDLE increase device and so on along with special sizes and Spring forces inside.
0 400 076 994 is the bosch regerence number for the assy
603 0700 101 ER 0007 MB part number.
hope u have some light on the subject after this Reading.....
regards
cam´s indeed are diff in the M pump for 61X engine series, 1 mm less lift.
the point with larger element got to do with that, not so with the fuel quantity, a 6mm element m pump can pump out as much as 140cc.
with a f&//$ long injection time. a 8mm one can do the same in 4 times less injection time. if u have a engine able to burn 140cc u have to go 8mm or more, regrinding the can wont do nothing for u.
regards
I know the higher RS#=later cam, just can't tell you what that number is.
There are two cams. Up to 175 and 176 and higher. You can have RS1 and there will be the same cam as in a RS175. As well the RS176 is identical to the RS203.
