Here is some pictures of my HE351VE in my 1987 300SDL with a OM606 swapped in. I tried in many ways to make it fit and this was the best location to get everything to work. I am hopping to make near 500hp with decent spool. Crower also made me some regrinded cams so that should help a bit.  Sorry I dont know how to post the pictures other then sharing my album. Maybe someone could post them for me.

Lovely work on the manifold, I too am fitting a he351ve over the next few weeks.
If your goal is 500hp you'll need to go hybrid with this turbo. It will do 400hp. But the turbine exducer is only 60mm and creates huge back pressure. I'm looking at fitting a 10 blade 64mm turbine wheel to overcome this.

Also I'm keen to see the difference with regrind cams.

A couple of advices. 1,2,3 to one collector and 4,5,6 to the other when you are running divided inlet. You need to have the turbo in that angle (straight out)? Can't you have it up or down? Now you have a couple of things that I noticed like the Number 1 primary and the downpipe. Both with excessive bending. The welding looks good! What material is it? 316L?

Keep it up Tim.

I can help you out with all your manual transmission, clutch, flywheel, intake and exhaust manifold issues.

It's not a divided manifold. I am not sure what you are saying about the angle exactly but I couldn't make it any other way because the actuator for the turbo was so big that the runners for cylinder 3 would be basically right at the collector and forget about making bends for cylinder 1 and 2...impossible. I tried for a while to make another way work and this was the best way to get this to fit. This VGT turbo is just big with the housing and actuator.
